Inscriptions where do I sign up? Is there a way to get a preview of the topics that will be dealt with? Yes. The main theme this year is open information and communication for society. The lectures are organized by thematic areas, check them here!: How do I find out if my activity proposal has been approved?

  • You will receive an email informing the date and time of your activity, to which you must respond by confirming or denying participation.

What if my lecture was approved and I can't go anymore?

  • You must respond to the approval email warning that you will no longer be able to attend.

Have approved speakers receive any support for travel and lodging?

  • The approved speakers receive a badge that gives access to all the activities of the event, but must bear all the costs of their coming. Remember: The FISL is a non-profit event, made with community efforts. You can check the hosting menu to get to know the accommodations options or try a little place by the solidarity hosting program.

Speaker need to be registered as a participant too?

  • All proponents of lectures that are approved as speakers will receive access to all areas of the event without the need for additional registration.

What if I already signed up and then got accepted as a speaker?

  • Participants subsequently approved as speakers may request reimbursement after the end of the event. For questions about speakers just contact: program at asl dot org dot BR

Volunteers how do I know if I've been accepted as a volunteer?

  • We will contact you by email with an affirmative or negative answer.

What if I want to help as a volunteer?

Do you have free programming?

  • Yes! To access the fair – which is the space where the sponsors and partners stands – and the activities that take place there, it is not necessary to pay for the registration. For lectures, workshops, debates and community meetings, only access is allowed upon presentation of the participant badge.

Programming is there a way to have a preview of the topics that will be dealt with?

  • Yes. The lectures are organized in thematic areas, which this year will be administration, development, Desktop, ecosystem, education, workshops, emerging topics.

I would suggest a lecture/debate/workshop, how do I do?

  • The work call will open soon. You will have 30 days to submit your proposal through the following system. If you just want to "give an idea" of activity without getting involved directly, send an email with your suggestion to: program at asl Dot org point br.

I'm trying to submit a lecture but the system doesn't seem to work in my browser, what happens?

  • The lecture enrollment system is approved only for Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers.

  Certificates how does the certificate issue work? Do I need to check the frequency?

  • The issuance of certificates is made automatically through the registration system. After the event, in your user file on the system, a "Generate certificate" option will appear, which will result in a PDF file with the certificate of participation in the event as a whole. Those who signed up and withdrew their credential will be entitled to a general certificate of participation in the event, as a participant or a speaker, without mention of the frequency.

  Do volunteers also receive certificates?

  • Clear! Volunteers receive more detailed certificates, specifying the area (s) of work and the number of hours worked, through their coordinators of GT (Working group).

  • There is no accommodation or camping area linked to the event.
